Don's Mobile Glass in Modesto CA
Don's Mobile Glass is family owned and has been in operation since 1960. They currently have four stores, Modesto, Merced, Turlock and Manteca. Don Monaco is the company founder. He built his business on community involvement and participation, that he still continues today.
One of the community projects is Don's Mobile Glass Holiday Shopping Trip, which started more than 30 years ago. Don would take a few children to dinner and this has grown, today, more than 100 local underprivileged children get to go shopping for toys and clothes, have dinner, gifts and entertainment. Additional help is given by employees and volunteers from the community.
Another community even is Love Modesto. This has been going on for 9 years. The event brings thousands of people together to help their community. Don's Mobile Glass brought a team of volunteers out. They painted a new mural of the United States on the blacktop at a local elementary school. They also painted basketball courts and poles, and tetherball poles.
Along with community service, Don's Auto Glass, has strived and became a registered member of the Auto Glass Safety Council. This council sets standards for auto glass Modesto safety and best practices in the industry. Don's Mobile Glass maintains the highest safety and quality standards. There is safety audits conducted annually.
